George Clooney has been arrested in Washington for protesting outside the Sudanese Embassy.
The star, who was led away by police in handcuffs, was protesting about the country's blockage of food and aid.
As the embassy is private property, George
Clooney and his fellow protesters knew that if they refused to move, they would be handcuffed. The star was reportedly with his father, journalist Nick Clooney, who was also protesting.

"George Clooney was arrested for crossing a police line at the Sudan embassy and he'll be transported to the Metropolitan police department second district," said Secret Service spokesman George Oglivie.
Earlier this week, the Oscar-nominated actor attended a state dinner, hosted by president Barack Obama, in honour of David and Samantha Cameron.
