Top 5 career moves for Britney

Those who can't do, teach. And those who can't coil themselves around a stripper pole as nimbly as they used to, judge.
Just ask Steven Tyler. Or better yet, Britney Spears, the latest (but surely not the last) mileage-afflicted pop tart to be courted by a reality-TV competition: Simon Cowell's extraneous, buzz-kill The X Factor.
Cowell is understandably eager to land a "name" as a new judge, a la Christina Aguilera in
The Voice, in the hopes of juicing ratings. But despite a $10 million payday, Spears has reportedly rejected the offer (she might change her mind for $20 million) and is instead mulling a Celine Dion-esque stint in Vegas.
The point being Spears has options. But is either the shrewd choice for her? Here are five other career moves the 30-year-old should contemplate before making any rash decisions.
STAR IN HER OWN SITCOM
Spears' guest stint on How I Met Your Mother in 2008 stoked ratings and was generally well-received. We're not suggesting she should act again (and the 14 of you who saw Crossroads know why), but sitcoms -- with their taped-in-front-of-a-live-audience one-dimensionality -- would fit her like a body stocking. Already one of her peers has recognized the potential -- a fortune to be made (see Charlie Sheen) for a minimum of effort (see Ashton Kutcher) -- as Jessica Simpson is reportedly developing a small-screen comedy.
